Our approach

They lived in the children's house

« … they lived in the Children’s House … »

Our research group studies past and present alternative religions like the Oneida Perfectionists (illustrated above and elsewhere on this website). Some of these groups have controversial child-rearing practices. It is our task to collect and provide information about children’s lives in minority religions which is accurate, up-to-date, and based on evidence. Our discipline requires that we maintain an objective value-free stance.
